Frequent host to yachts arriving from far-away places, the ORC Marina offers levels of service captains expect when they enter large international sailing ports. Lest we forget, our members and their guests are often the ones returning from those far-away places. Or maybe you’re coming home from an hour or two out where a big one tested your rod, your line and your pride. Or maybe you’ve just spent the afternoon diving on the only living coral reef in American waters. Or maybe you’ve discovered you’re not carrying one of the local charts. Whatever you and your vessel may need, it’s here at the ORC Marina—with berthing for one hundred seventy-five boats and superb accommodations available only steps away. Like everything else at Ocean Reef Club, we take great pride in the hospitality and service you’ll receive at our Marina.

Ocean Reef is a sport fisherman’s paradise: get on your boat or charter and go after the big ones and then hire a guide to take you out in the warm water of the flats to try and outsmart a wily bonefish. Five and a half miles offshore you’ll almost surely encounter sailfish and the waters are full of blue and white marlin, dolphin, shark, wahoo, blackfin tuna and amberjack depending on the season. The Gulf Stream’s only half an hour to the southwest. There’s a lot to do in these clear, azure waters.

Snorkelers love to explore the shallow, offshore reefs and SCUBA diving is available in many locations for certified divers. Water clarity and temperature at ORC are as close to perfect as you’ll find in American waters.

You can rent sailboats on Buccaneer Island and smaller craft at the Marina, and lessons in handling watercraft and water safety are available on our menu of services. Charters are available too, and cruises on well-appointed yachts – morning, afternoon, and at sunset – are a wonderful way to enjoy the water and leave the piloting to someone else.
